About the event

From Function to Heritage reaches its next stop at the Red River Gorge Visitor center! The Kentucky Guild of Artists & Craftsmen, in partnership with KCHEA, celebrates America250 through Power of Place, a traveling exhibition rooted in the legacy of the Kentucky Guild train, a "cultural caravan" that once carried out story and craft from town to town. Inspired by history, we carry that spirit forward, bringing Appalachian Craft across the Commonwealth.

Live music will be provided by Montanna Hobbs, and Turtle Farm Pottery will be doing live pottery demonstrations!
